- A Subterranean Blue Poetry Imprint -

The Colour of Pomegranates, this New Age Renaissance Republique of Poetry book is born in the winter at the apartment of The Winter Tree, a small beautiful apartment in Hochelaga, with wooden floors. In the main room a huge window looking out over a small courtyard and a large bare tree. In the Summer you could regularly see fireworks in the nightsky from the window. Inspired by viewing the movie, The Colour of Pomegranates, for the second time, a 1969 Russian art film by Sergei Parajanov based in the life of 18th century Armenian Poet, Singer, Songwriter, Musician Sayat-Nova, a profoundly haunting portrayal in symbolism, colour and music. This poetry lives in fantastical images in beauty contrasted with darkness, a classical presentation in the gothic cathedral, as it spins into fantasia, the world into magic and the beauty of archetypes in the Spirit. This lyrical Beat Poetry progression with Haiku beginnings lives in French and English. The Colour of Pomegranates by Rebecca Anne Banks and Subterranean Blue Poetry.
